Democrats '08: Hillary 36%, Obama 24%

(angus reid) - Hillary Rodham Clinton remains the top presidential nominee for Democratic Party supporters in the United States, according to a poll by TNS released by the Washington Post and ABC News. 36 per cent of respondents would vote for the New York senator in a 2008 primary.

Illinois senator Barack Obama is second with 24 per cent, followed by former U.S. vice-president Al Gore with 14 per cent, and former North Carolina senator John Edwards with 12 per cent. Support is lower for New Mexico governor Bill Richardson and Delaware senator Joe Biden. Read More
