Saturday, 17 March 2007
(PollSmoking) - The latest Newsweek Poll has George Bush's approval rating at 30%, down a point since March 1st. On his handling of Iraq, it's even lower at 27%, but that is an improvement from 24% 2 months ago.

Public support remains high among Republicans with 54% saying Gonzales should not step down. Among Democrats it's almost the opposite, with 47% saying Gonzales should resign or be fired.
