Democrats 2008: Hillary and Obama Are Ahead

(angus reid) - Democratic Party supporters in the United States have two favourites for the 2008 United States presidential election, according to a poll by Harris Interactive. 41 per cent of respondents say they would consider voting for New York senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, and 41 per cent would consider backing Illinois senator Barack Obama.

Former North Carolina senator John Edwards and former U.S. vice-president Al Gore are tied with 29 per cent, followed by Massachusetts senator John Kerry with 14 per cent, and Connecticut senator Joe Lieberman with 10 per cent. Read More
