Election 2008: Richardson Leads Romney 42% to 34% |

(rasmussen) - New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson, who now ranks fourth in his long-shot bid for the Democratic nomination, leads former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney (R) in a general election match-up, 42% to 34%. Romney is fourth in the polls for the Republican nomination.
Romney is more competitive among males (40% to 40%) and whites (37% to Richardson's 40%). Unaffiliated voters are reluctant to name either man; among them, the candidates are tied 30% to 30%. Read More
