Hillary Leads McCain, Ties Giuliani in U.S.

(angus reid) - Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton holds the upper hand against a prospective Republican presidential nominee in the United States, according to a poll by Rasmussen Reports. 48 per cent of respondents would support the New York senator in 2008, while 44 per cent would vote for Arizona senator John McCain.

In a contest pitting Rodham Clinton against former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, the two candidates are tied with 45 per cent. In mid-March, Giuliani held an eight-point advantage over Rodham Clinton. Read More
