Giuliani Leads Three Democrats in Connecticut |

(angus reid) - Republican Rudy Giuliani holds the upper hand in Connecticut before the 2008 United States presidential election, according to a poll by the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute. 48 per cent of respondents in the Constitution State would vote for the former New York City mayor, while 42 per cent would back Democratic New York senator Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Giuliani holds a two-point lead over Illinois senator Barack Obama, and a three-point edge over former U.S. vice-president Al Gore. In other contests, the three Democrats are ahead when paired against Arizona senator John McCain and actor and former Tennessee senator Fred Thompson. Read More
