Giuliani Leads Democrats in Ohio |

(angus reid) - Many adults in the Buckeye State would vote for Republican Rudy Giuliani in the 2008 United States presidential election, according to a poll by the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute. 47 per cent of respondents in Ohio would support the former New York City mayor, while 43 per cent would back Democratic New York senator Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Giuliani also holds an eight-point lead over former U.S. vice-president Al Gore, and a one-point edge over Illinois senator Barack Obama. In other match-ups, Arizona senator John McCain leads Rodham Clinton by one point and Gore by three points, but trails Obama by three points.
