(angus reid) - Democrat Barack Obama is the most popular 2008 presidential contender in the United States, according to a poll by Bloomberg and the Los Angeles Times. At least 46 per cent of respondents would vote for the Illinois senator in head-to-head contests against three prospective Republican nominees.
Obama holds a five-point edge over former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, a 12-point advantage over Arizona senator John McCain, and a 16-point lead over former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney. Read More
