Americans Want Troops Out of Iraq in 2008 |

(angus reid) - Many adults in the United States believe their country’s commitment to the coalition effort should come to an end next year, according to a poll by Rasmussen Reports. 55 per cent of respondents favour a proposal to remove almost all U.S. combat troops from Iraq by early 2008.
The coalition effort against Saddam Hussein’s regime was launched in March 2003. At least 3,664 American soldiers have died during the military operation, and more than 27,100 troops have been wounded in action. Read More
