Romney Leads, Obama Drops in New Hampshire |

(angus reid) - Mitt Romney is the top United States presidential contender for Republican Party supporters in New Hampshire, according to a poll by American Research Group. 27 per cent of likely GOP voters in the Granite State would back the former Massachusetts governor in next year’s primary.
Former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani is second with 23 per cent, followed by Arizona senator John McCain with 12 per cent, former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee with nine per cent, and actor and former Tennessee senator Fred Thompson with eight per cent. Support is lower for former House of Representatives speaker Newt Gingrich, Texas congressman Ron Paul, and Kansas senator Sam Brownback. Read More
