(angus reid) - Republican Rudy Giuliani is the top United States presidential contender in Missouri, according to a poll by Rasmussen Reports. At least 44 per cent of respondents in the Show Me State would vote for the former New York City mayor in head-to-head contests against two prospective Democratic rivals.

Giuliani leads New York senator Hillary Rodham Clinton by three points, and Illinois senator Barack Obama by five points. In other contests, actor and former Tennessee senator Fred Thompson is tied with Rodham Clinton, and holds a nine-point advantage over Obama. Read More
