Romney Extends Lead in New Hampshire |

(angus reid) - More Republican Party supporters in New Hampshire would back Mitt Romney in next year’s United States presidential primary, according to a poll by the Marist College Institute for Public Opinion. 33 per cent of likely GOP voters in the Granite State would support the former Massachusetts governor, up seven points since September.
New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani is second with 22 per cent, followed by Arizona senator John McCain with 13 per cent, Texas congressman Ron Paul with seven per cent, and former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee also with seven per cent. Support is lower for actor and former Tennessee senator Fred Thompson and Colorado congressman Tom Tancredo. Read More
