Iowa Caucus 08 (D): Hillary 29%, Obama 27%

(angus reid) - Democratic Party supporters in Iowa are divided in their assessment of the 2008 United States presidential hopefuls, according to a poll by Strategic Vision. 29 per cent of respondents in the Hawkeye State would vote for New York senator Hillary Rodham Clinton in January’s caucus, while 27 per cent would back Illinois senator Barack Obama.

Former North Carolina senator John Edwards is third with 20 per cent, followed by New Mexico governor Bill Richardson with seven per cent, Delaware senator Joe Biden with five per cent, Ohio congressman Dennis Kucinich with one per cent, and Connecticut senator Chris Dodd also with one per cent.
