(angus reid) - Barack Obama is leading the United States presidential race among Democratic Party supporters in South Carolina, according to a review of the last five publicly released voting intention surveys. 47.5 per cent of decided voters in the Palmetto State would back the Illinois senator in tomorrow’s primary.
New York senator Hillary Rodham Clinton is second with 34.5 per cent, followed by former North Carolina senator John Edwards with 16.8 per cent.
