Obama Edging McCain in New Mexico

(Angus Reid) - Democrat Barack Obama holds a slight advantage over Republican John McCain in New Mexico, according to a poll by Rasmussen Reports. 45 per cent of respondents would vote for the Illinois senator in this year’s United States presidential election, while 42 per cent would back the Republican Arizona senator.

In a separate contest, Democratic New York senator Hillary Rodham Clinton trails McCain by three points.
