Vermont U.S. Senate: Sanders 58%, Tarrant 38% |

(angus reid) - Bernard Sanders could become one of Vermont’s representatives to the United States Senate, according to the latest poll by Research 2000. 58 per cent of respondents in the Green Mountain State would vote for the independent candidate, while 38 per cent would support Republican Richard Tarrant.
A mid-September poll by American Research Group gave Sanders a 15-point edge over Tarrant. Pete Diamondstone of the Liberty Union Party is also contending. Read More
