Minnesota Governor: Pawlenty 42%, Hatch 39% |

(angus reid) - Tim Pawlenty holds a slight edge in the North Star State’s gubernatorial race, according to the latest poll by Mason-Dixon Polling & Research Inc. 42 per cent of respondents would vote for the incumbent Republican, while 39 per cent would support Democratic challenger Mike Hatch.
In addition, five per cent of respondents would vote for Peter Hutchinson of the Independence Party. Ken Pentel of the Green Party is also contending. A mid-September poll by the University of Minnesota gave Hatch a two-point advantage over Pawlenty. Read More
