Arizona U.S. Senate: Kyl 49%, Pederson 38%

(angus reid) - Republican Jon Kyl could earn a new six-year term as one of Arizona’s representatives to the United States Senate, according to the latest poll by the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. 49 per cent of respondents in the Grand Canyon State would vote for Kyl in this year’s election, while 38 per cent would support Democrat Jim Pederson.

A mid-September poll by Rasmussen Reports gave Kyl an 11-point edge over Pederson. Libertarian Party candidate Richard Mack is also contending. Read More
