Ohio Governor: Strickland 52%, Blackwell 33% |

(angus reid) - United States congressman Ted Strickland is leading in the Buckeye State’s gubernatorial race, according to the latest poll by the Columbus Dispatch. 52 per cent of respondents in Ohio would back the Democrat, while 33 per cent would vote for Republican state secretary Ken Blackwell.
A mid-September survey by the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute gave Strickland a 21-point edge over Blackwell. Libertarian candidate Bill Peirce and Bob Fitrakis of the Green Party are also contending. Read More
