Washington U.S. Senate: Cantwell 54%, McGavick 42%

(anugs reid) - Democrat Maria Cantwell could earn a new term as one of Washington’s representatives to the United States Senate, according to the latest poll by SurveyUSA. 54 per cent of respondents would vote for the incumbent, while 42 per cent would support Republican challenger Mike McGavick.

A late September survey by Strategic Vision gave Cantwell a nine-point edge over McGavick. Green Party candidate Aaron Dixon, Libertarian Party candidate Bruce Guthrie and independent Robin Adair are also contending. Read More
