Missouri U.S. Senate: Talent 43%, McCaskill 43%

(angus reid) - There is no clear frontrunner in Missouri’s election to the United States Senate, according to the latest poll by Mason-Dixon Polling and Research Inc. 43 per cent of respondents in the Show Me State would vote for Republican incumbent Jim Talent, while 43 per cent would support Democrat Claire McCaskill.

A late September survey by Zogby Interactive gave Talent a one-point edge over McCaskill. Libertarian Party candidate Frank Gilmour and Lydia Lewis of the Green Party are also contending. Read More
