(rasmussen) - Having emerged victorious from a three-way primary on September 19, Democrat Deval Patrick leads the field of official candidates vying to be Massachusetts’ next governor. The latest Rasmussen Reports election survey shows Patrick in the lead with 57% followed by Republican Lt. Gov. Kerry Healey (24%) and Independent candidate Christy Mihos (9%).
Assuming his lead continues through the general election, Deval would be the first African-American governor in Massachusetts’ history and only the second in the United States. Read More
