Maryland Governor: O’Malley 47%, Ehrlich 43%

(angus reid) - Challenger Martin O’Malley is holding on to the lead in the Old Line State’s gubernatorial race, according to the latest poll by Mason-Dixon Polling & Research Inc. 47 per cent of respondents in Maryland would vote for the Democrat, while 43 per cent would support Republican incumbent Robert Ehrlich.

A mid-September poll by SurveyUSA gave O’Malley a seven-point edge over Ehrlich. Green Party candidate Ed Boyd and Populist Party candidate Chris Driscoll are also contending. Read More
