Arizona U.S. Senate: Kyl 47%, Pederson 41%

(angus reid) - Republican Jon Kyl could earn a new six-year term as one of Arizona’s representatives to the United States Senate, according to the latest poll by the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University released by KAET-TV. 47 per cent of respondents in the Grand Canyon State would vote for Kyl in this year’s election, while 41 per cent would support Democrat Jim Pederson.

A mid-October survey by the Social Research Laboratory at Northern Arizona University gave Kyl a 16-point edge over Pederson. Libertarian Party candidate Richard Mack is also contending. Read More
