Florida U.S. Senate: Nelson 56%, Harris 30% |

(angus reid) - Incumbent Bill Nelson could earn a new term as one of Florida’s representatives to the United States Senate, according to the latest poll by Schroth/Eldon & Associates. 56 per cent of respondents in the Sunshine State would vote for the Democrat, while 30 per cent would support Republican Katherine Harris. A late October poll by Strategic Vision gave Nelson a 23-point lead over Harris.
Nelson was first elected to the U.S. Senate in 2000, defeating Republican Bill McCollum with 52 per cent of the vote in a ballot to replace the retiring Connie Mack III. Read More
