Virginia U.S. Senate: Webb 47%, Allen 43% |

(angus reid) - Challenger James Webb has taken the lead in Virginia’s election to the United States Senate, according to the latest poll by Garin Hart Yang. 47 per cent of respondents would vote for the Democrat, while 43 per cent would support incumbent Republican George Allen.
A late October survey by Rasmussen Reports gave Allen a one-point edge over Webb. Businesswoman and retired Air Force major Gail Parker is running as the Independent Green candidate. Read More
