Support for Iraq War at All-Time Low in U.S.

(angus reid) - Fewer adults in the United States are in favour of the coalition effort, according to a poll by Opinion Research Corporation released by CNN. 61 per cent of respondents oppose the U.S. war in Iraq, down three points since mid-October.

The coalition effort against Saddam Hussein’s regime was launched in March 2003. At least 2,836 American soldiers have died during the military operation, and more than 21,400 troops have been wounded in action. Read More
