President Bush Job Approval 42% |

(rasmussen) - Three days after the mid-term elections, 42% of Americans approve of the way that George W. Bush is performing his role as President. Fifty-six percent (56%) disapprove. These figures include 21% who Strongly Approve, and 40% who Strongly Disapprove. The incoming Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, (D) is viewed favorably by 24%, the same rating enjoyed by the outgoing Speaker, Dennis Hastert.
The President earns approval from 80% of Republicans, and just 18% of Democrats. Among those who report that they belong to some other political party, 31% give Mr. Bush their nod of approval. Read More
