Americans Call for Iraq Troop Reduction

(angus reid) - Many adults in the United States believe their country should begin to withdraw the soldiers who are taking part in the coalition effort, according to a poll by Rasmussen Reports. 52 per cent of respondents think the U.S. should reduce the number of troops currently deployed in Iraq.

Conversely, 24 per cent of respondents believe more soldiers should be sent to the war zone, while 12 per cent say no change is required at this time. Read More
