78% Willing to Vote for Woman President |

(rasmussen) - Seventy-eight percent (78%) of American voters say they’re willing to vote for a female presidential candidate. However, the latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that just 51% believe their family, friends, and co-workers are willing to do the same. The true number willing to vote for a woman probably lies somewhere between those two figures.
These figures are slightly higher than an April 2005 Rasmussen Reports survey which found that 72% of voters would vote for a woman presidential candidate and 49% who believe their family and friends would do the same. Read More
