Giuliani Leads Gore, Rodham Clinton for 2008

(angus reid) - Republican Rudy Giuliani holds the upper hand in a United States presidential contest against Democrat Al Gore, according to a poll by Rasmussen Reports. 46 per cent of respondents would vote for the former New York City mayor, while 43 per cent would support the former vice-president.

In a contest against Democratic New York senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, Giuliani holds a four-point advantage. Giuliani garnered national and international attention in the aftermath of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, and has formed a political action committee called Solutions America. Read More
