Americans Ponder What Success in Iraq Means |

(angjus reid) Adults in the United States hold differing views on the way their country should evaluate the coalition effort, according to a poll by Gallup released by USA Today. 26 per cent of respondents think all troops must be brought home and the war must end to be considered a success.
Having a stable government in Iraq is second with 21 per cent, followed by Iraqis being self-sufficient and able to run their own country with 14 per cent, making Iraq secure and minimizing violence with 12 per cent, and the peaceful coexistence between Sunnis, Shiites, Kurds with 10 per cent.
